Does anyone have an opinion about medical transcription versus editing with voice technology software?

I’m considering a career switch from transcription to editing. Which one makes more money?

I am currently a medical transcriptionist. I have been in the field for a little over 6 years. Many hospitals are having difficulty with voice recognition software because doctors/practitioners have various dialects. It is my opinion that the quality of the documents done by a transcriptionist are much better. Humans can adapt and learn various dialects and/or idiosyncrasies. I would stay with transcription.
